Natalia Zhurina is a specialist on nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation and is currently working as Research and Education Officer at the Agency for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America and the Caribbean (OPANAL). Additionally, she is a Coordinator for Eastern Europe at the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) Youth Group. Natalia has a background in International Relations and Affairs from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhl (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute), and worked several years in Moscow, initially for the Embassy of Peru to the Russian Federation and then for the Peru Trade Office.
