Elena Karnaukhova holds bachelor’s and master’s honors degrees in International Relations with major International Security from the School of World Politics of Lomonosov Moscow State University (2018, 2020). Since 2020 has been a post-graduate student and the coordinator of Master program on International Security of the School of World Politics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. Interned in State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation (2015), Russian Parliamentarian Club (2015), Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (2017), Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation (2016, 2018), Trade Delegation of Russia in the UK (2017, 2018), JSC Russian Export Center. In 2020-2021 worked as an Analyst, International Development, in Russian Export Center. Currently Elena holds the position of Education & Training Program Coordinator, Assistant to Director on Special Projects, PIR Center, Executive Secretary of the Trialogue Club International. Her academic interests include geopolitics in Central Asia and in the Arctic Region, new world order, theory of military-political coalitions, nuclear factor in international relations, international security and Russian foreign policy, US-Russian relations, applied international analysis, gender issues and women diplomacy.
